I made some coveralls.

I am not sure what triggered this, maybe it was the sign that said Simplicity patterns, $1.99, or maybe it was wanting something to wear for an interesting halloween costume? I found this patterns for making your own coveralls. There was a qr code with a video to follow along for the sewing instructions. Awesome. I searched on youtube to see if the follow along instructions were posted there. Another awesome, they were. Looking over the patterns with all the little symbols was a bit intimidating. I looked at another video that had a breakdown of how to read a pattern which was really helpful. With this new found knowledge, I took a drive to to get some interesting fabric. At M and L fabrics, I got mad looks from all the older ladies gathering their quilting pieces. They were boxing me out of some of the rows with their carts. I found some interesting fabric. They have so much fabric on the racks that you may not find the same fabric again. The thing is I forgot how many yards I was going to need for the coveralls. I started cutting up the pieces and what a blunder, I didn't get enough fabric. A week or two later I went back and found a solid color of teal that is very close to the teal bits on the pattern. It was great to have a video follow along. Almost like a tutor to guide me in my work, so I must thank you Mr. Norris Danta Ford. I had a problem with the bottom part of the zipper that makes it stick out funny. I will have to revisit it and adjust it. The coveralls ended up being really huge in size. So they are roomy. I got a belt and a little pouch to help slim them down. The finish product reminds me of some coveralls a mechanic would wear in the 2nd Back to the Future movie. I could see them on some guy in the background while Marty is zipping around on the hoverboard avoiding on coming traffic.

Hello, I thought this image might make a good textile pattern, someday. I just wanted to let you know that the new episode of Bull Hurley's Tape Worm is up. It's episode 20. New Goods for the New Year

That up there is the Bricktop. It is a 1983 Schwinn Traveller. I just fixed it up a little. It rides fairly well. Here is a new episode of Pedal psticks Pedal. I rode the Bricktop in it. Here is the first zine for 2021. It is called Jeff George Michaels Coupon. I interviewed the artist Michael Yaikel in it. There is some other information in it that may be fun. Another item, is the new mix of cassette tapes on the Bull hurleys Tape Worm It is episode 14. It snowed and it was really neat here in the high desert. It was like Hoth. I rode the boss anjo on some adventures. The Boss Anjo is kind of heavy and takes some effort to get up to speed. Here is an adventure on the Boss Anjo. pedal psticks pedal This is my new project. It is called Bricktop. It is a 1983 Schwinn Traveler. It is a bit dirty and needs some grease and WD-40. But i think it will be fun. thank you and be safe.

Pin back

I made these simple pins. On some of the pins, like the diamond and the lego figure i simply poured resin in a mold. Then i applied some paint. For the other ones, like the big boss man, i made some printouts. Then i poured a bit of resin in the mold. The next day i placed the printout down on the piece, followed it up by pouring more resin. When it dried I used contact cement to glue the pin back in place. I got pin backs at Jo Anns.

Baby Robo V

A new weapon to the battle of monsters and unexplained troubles. I made this out of cardstock and card board. I started with the feet and worked my way up. I wanted to build a jumbo machinder. It has three points of articulation. The head i made from a mold i created from an old doll head i found at a thrift store. Baby Robo V ended up being a little taller then Gaiking. When i finished i applied a coat of fiberglass resin to keep it rigid. Then i hit it with my airbrush. Thank you.

From the cavernous reaches of a crystaline tower, the warlock of site watches to see the mischief his spells endure. I made this new mego figure using a ping pong ball for the eye/head. the body and the boots i purchased from dr. mego. here is his site so if you are so inclined you could purchase your own body. http://drmego.fatcow.com/store/index.html I also built a box for him too. Lost data and new adventures

my laptops hard drive went out and i lost about a years worth of projects that i was working on. a tough lesson learned, frequently back that junk up. not your backside but your data. sorry. i lost three zines i was working on, ugh. my mother made fruity pebble treats recently. they are sweet and very colorful. the recipe is the same as rice krispie treats just substitute rice krispies with post fruity pebbles. here is a link to a recipe.
